Q&A: Black Holes
Q:
How far are black holes from one another?
A:
There are black holes that are only a few thousand light years from
us. They are relatively close, by cosmic standards, because they are
located in our galaxy. Other black holes have been seen that are billions
of light years away from us. Black holes within a galaxy can be fairly
close to each other, especially in the center of a galaxy.
