1. View of ACIS as seen by HRMA
From this view, you can see the ACIS focal plane array as it would appear from the vantage point of looking down the telescope. The CCD chips are in the square (imaging) and rectangular (spectroscoping) arrays. In a flight configuration, you would not see the arrays, as the optical blocking filters would be in place.
