Q&A: Chandra Mission

Q:
Will there be a future, different Chandra telescope?

A:
A future X-ray telescope in the planning stage is Constellation X. It has more area, but less ability to make sharp images. It will be a fleet of 4 observatories and is intended to be 1.5 million miles from Earth. See their web site at: http://constellation.gsfc.nasa.gov
