Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 12 November 2010 9.00am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Chandra passed through the third and fourth eclipses of the fall season on Nov 7 and 10 respectively, with nominal power and thermal performance. A real-time procedure was executed on Nov 11 to clear a glitch counter that incremented during eclipse exit. The counter increment is expected under certain timing and thermal conditions.

The schedule of targets for the next week is shown below and includes a series of observations of the comet 103P/Hartley 2 and an observation of Eta Car coordinated with HST.
