Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 3 December 2004 8.00am EST

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Of note last week was the release on 29 Nov of a new version of the CXC Data System. Release 7.4 provides functionality to largely automate the science data Verification and Validation (V&V) process, new ACIS processing tools, additional monitoring and trends data bases, and support for a new release of the aspect guide star catalog (AGASC 1.6).

The schedule of targets for next week is shown below and includes an observation of M31 coordinated with the VLA.
