Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 27 August 2010 8.30am EDT

During the last week Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned.

Of note this week was the announcement on Aug 20 of the availability of the Chandra Source Catalog Release 1.1 for use by the astronomical community and a release of data products for the full 4 Msec from Chandra Deep Field South observations.

Also of note this week was a mini-workshop on "Challenges and Methods for Massive Astronomical Data" held in Cambridge, MA on Aug 24-25.
