Operations CXO Status Report

Friday 3 May 2002 4.00pm EDT

During the last week, Chandra completed the observing schedule as planned. (We note that this is the first week since March 1 that replans have not been required due to either solar activity or TOOs.)

A new version of the Off-Line System (OFLS) ground software began use operationally on May 3. Version 9.2B includes increased optimization of the momentum management and a better calculation for Earth avoidance during slews.

The observing schedule for the next week is shown below and includes two observations of NGC 4151 coordinated with Hubble Space Telescope.
