Operations CXO Status Report

Monday 6 December 1999 10.00am EST

Over the weekend Chandra observed a GTO target S-Z Cluster, NGC 4151 and SNR 590.0-68.7 with ACIS-S, and passed through the radiation belts with the associated ACIS CTI measurements.

The next mission planning load (Dec 5) was signed off on Friday and began executing at 4.30pm on Sunday Dec 5.

During the next 48 hours, Chandra will observe RX J1159+5531 with ACIS-I and begin a long observation of the Lockman Hole with HRC-I. This observation will continue until the pre-belt ACIS CTI measurement on Tuesday afternoon.

The spacecraft subsystems continued to operate nominally.
